New Year, New You?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Now comes the relentless ads for weight loss, exercise, resolutions, diet fads, and the list goes on.....do you know the difference between the end of one year and the beginning of another? Time and space, the same 24 hours you had between December 30 and 31, and January 1 and 2. I said all that to say, just do what you need to do to be a better version of yourself and stop making resolutions at the beginning of each year that don’t go past the month, if that long. It takes a simple mental decision to start doing things differently and not an arbitrary date on the calendar. Do that thing for 21 consecutive days and it becomes a habit and then a lifestyle. That also means that the negative habit/lifestyle you’re living was something you did daily and you became used to it. Stop using the new year as a crutch, and simply make better decisions when you wake up daily, and you will have a better life.
