Diplomatic Immunity

When you hear diplomatic immunity, what comes to mind? For me, it’s that I can do no wrong, the laws of whatever country I am in do not apply to me – cue in a very popular series I used to watch with a distinct sound – y’all know what that sound is…lol. Anyhoo, whenever a diplomat would commit a crime and they went to pick the suspect up, there was always a big to do about it. Their hands were tied once they find out the person is a diplomat – you know why? Diplomatic immunity! Now let’s bring that to us! We are not of this world, we are on assignment, we are ambassadors, diplomats and therefore the rules and regulations that govern us are those of Heaven. We are untouchable down here, but we must know that otherwise, we will be easily swayed by the things that come to challenge us in this world. As ambassadors, we’ve been given all we need to function in this world, whatever you need, just name it, the “home country” aka Heaven has already provided, including personal security in the form of Angels and guess what, the Holy Spirit is also in you to be your guide. I said all that to say: walk in confidence, don’t let life get you down, worried, sad, and all the other things that can so easily sway others (see what I did there?). Don’t let the enemy of your soul fool you into thinking he can arrest or intimidate you. Any time something comes to faze you, invoke diplomatic immunity, remind yourself and the situation who you are and Whose you are, and that you still have work to get done.
