Self Care (Part 8): Say “No”

We have come to the end of our Self care series, and again, this is by no means an exhaustive list, this is just to get us going. Now, this last one might be more elusive than REST, but it does exist. Sometimes, we don’t need any of the previous suggestions, we just need to say NO. Saying no does not make you a bad person (even though others will make us think we are), but no is an important boundary (you can find that elsewhere on here). A healthy self care mindset/routine requires that we know when we need to say no, stick to it, and not feel bad about it. Practice in the mirror or with those you are comfortable with if you need to, it won’t kill you to say no; it just might if you keep saying yes though. #wisdomissayingno #selfcareiswisdom
