New Level

Today, I want to talk about moving on and realizing when we’ve healed that we should no longer expect to be comfortable where we once felt comfortable. When we are in school and pass to the next grade, we are no longer taking the same classes as the “friends'' we used to have. Much like a growing child no longer fits in certain sizes, you must also expect you will no longer fit in certain spaces/places/mindsets/relationships/friendships/expectations/jobs, etc as you grow. Yes, you may have that favorite “blankie” that you want to drag around with you, but I want you to picture a 14 yr old dragging his baby blanket around everywhere he goes….looks a type of way right? That’s how it looks and possibly feels when we try to drag around what we’ve outgrown or no longer benefit from; things that no longer serve us.

Now, if you did not realize you needed to move to a new level but as you are reading this the lightbulb goes off for you, it’s ok to move on. No need to make an announcement to people in your life, just start making the necessary changes. Those changes may not always be welcome, but it’s ok….there’s a blog post on here somewhere about that ……It’s time to move to a new level.
